- Do I need coding experience?
- No. Zero experience required. If you can use a computer and you're motivated, you're ready.
- How much time does it take per week?
- Plan for 10–12 hours: 3 hrs live sessions, 1 hr office hours, 4–6 hrs building, 1–2 hrs community.
- What if I fall behind?
- Reach out. We have a minimum viable milestone for every week, and all sessions are recorded.
- What do I actually leave with?
- A deployed app with a public URL, a GitHub portfolio, a 5-minute demo you've presented live, and an updated LinkedIn.
- Is this a bootcamp?
- No. It's an 8-week builder cohort. We're not training you for job interviews. We're teaching you to ship software and feel confident doing it.
- What AI tools will I use?
- You'll use Cursor (an AI-powered code editor) and ChatGPT throughout the program. You'll learn to use AI the way professionals do — to go faster, not to replace thinking.
- What if I don't like it?
- See the refund policy in your enrollment agreement.
- What's the refund policy?

- Will sessions be recorded?
- Yes. Replays are posted within 24 hours of each live session.
- Do I need a Mac?
- No. Windows and Mac both work. You need a computer with a modern browser and the ability to install free software.
- What happens after the cohort?
- You keep access to the alumni Discord, 30-day post-grad office hours, and a network of builders who ship alongside you.
- Can I work full time and do this?
- Yes. Tech Trek Academy is designed for working adults. Plan for 10–12 hrs/week, mostly evenings and weekends.
- What makes this different from Udemy or a YouTube playlist?
- You ship every week. You have accountability. You have a real deadline and a real audience on Demo Day.
